As rapid advances in SCS hardware and waveforms have occurred, so too has our understanding of how these new technologies can help to improve pain care and outcomes. In this session, we will discuss the putative mechanisms of action for some of the commonly used stimulation platforms and how these mechanisms may translate into clinical applications.
This session will help attendees learn and understand how scientific ideas can be practically monetized and reach patients. The attendees will hopefully learn from others in the field who have gone from bench research to market, and other physicians who have helped assist in the process of allowing their scientific ideas to reach the mass market.
