With advancements in neuromodulation, in particular on novel waveforms and mechanisms of action, it is becoming evident that the application of electrical current within the spine may have local physiologic and pharmacologic effects. As such, several non-neurologic applications of neuromodulation are emerging. This session will discuss and emphasize possible applications of neuromodulation on chronic ongoing conditions such as diabetes, limb ischemia, and angina.
