Dr. Paul Verrills is a world-renowned interventional pain management physician. He is a director of Metro Pain Group, a clinic widely recognized as Australia’s leading interventional pain practice. Dr. Verrills is a fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Musculoskeletal Medicine and completed a Masters in Pain Medicine under Professor Bogduk at the University of Newcastle. He was one of the first in the world to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine and to be awarded his International Fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice. Having a passion for research, Dr. Verrills spent over a decade on the Research Committee of the International Spine Intervention Society and continues to co-lead a dedicated team undertaking cutting-edge research and data collection. Dr. Verrills regularly lectures and instructs hands-on learning of advanced interventional pain techniques in Australia, USA, Europe, and Asia, often focussing on his special interest subject - neuromodulation. He is an Editorial Reviewer for peer-reviewed journals including Neuromodulation and Pain Medicine. Dr. Verrills is a past Australian representative board member for the International Neuromodulation Society (INS) and is immediate past President of the Neuromodulation Society of Australia and New Zealand (NSANZ). Dr. Paul Verrills is an active member of the International Neuromodulation Society, International Spine Intervention Society, World Institute of Pain, The International Association for the Study of Pain, Australian Pain Society and the Spine Society of Australia.
