Nicholas Bremer, MDDirector of Implantable Therapies

Dr. Bremer trained in Interventional Pain Medicine at Columbia University and in Anesthesiology at NYU.  He currently practices at the Center for Pain Relief in Charleston, West Virginia, and is an Assistant Professor at WVU School of Medicine and on the Board of Directors of WVSIPP and ASPN.  In his high-volume private practice, Dr. Bremer incorporates academics and education, publication work, as well as clinical investigation.  He is currently an implanter on the Abbott TARGET trial (as Local Primary Investigator), The Abbott BOLD trial, the Abbott Delivery trial, the SPR SPRINT (PNS) trial, and was an implanter on the Saluda EVOKE trial.  He is also an investigator on interventional spine procedures aimed at spinal decompression, including the Vertos MOTION trial and the Vertiflex PRESS trial. He trains fellows and advanced implanters at national course around the country and conducts Webinars lectures on advanced topics in neuromodulation. He is honored to be chosen as a NANS pre-conference faculty member to teach spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, and peripheral nerve stimulation trialing and implanting techniques.
