Lee F. Hartley, PhD CTO

I am an Electrical Engineer by formal training that loves life on the boundary between medicine and engineering. I have been developing implantable medical devices and interdisciplinary systems for ~30 years. I participated in the founding of Nalu Medical in 2014 after 15 years of advancing cochlear implant technology at Advanced Bionics. My EE PhD research involved hybrid microfluidic systems for oncology related lab on chip applications and related industrialization methods. In my early career, before transitioning to med tech, I spent ~10 years designing commercial wireless optical communication chips and systems.
