Neuromodulation: A New Horizon

This session will review new emerging indications of neuromodulation as well as explore novel mechanisms of action.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify elements that will decrease pain and improve vascularization in painful diabetic neuropathy with reversible vascular changes.
  • Summarize indications for use of neuromodulation in low back pain in the absence of spine surgery.
  • Describe novel mechanisms of action associated with spinal cord stimulation.
