Megan Filoramo, APN has been part of the pain team at New Jersey Pain Consultants/Altair Health for the last 23 years. She specializes in the care and maintenance of the chronic pain patient through medication management, complementary modalities, referral for interventional procedures, and neuromodulation selection and education. In addition, she serves as Master Faculty for the American Society for Pain Management Nursing, as Co-Chair for the Pain Management Specialty Practice Group for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and as the Membership Chair for the NANS Advanced Practice Provider group. Megan is also a board certified Integrative Health and Wellness Nurse Coach. In addition to using this certification in her pain management practice, she has a private coaching practice focusing on wellness promotion and burnout prevention for nurses in the workforce. As a dedicated educator, she actively seeks out opportunities to add to the pain management knowledge base and the overall health of her peers and her patients.
