Tianhe Zhang, PhD Principal Research Scientist
Tianhe Zhang, Ph.D. is a Principal Research Scientist in the Neuromodulation Research and Advanced Concepts (NRAC) team at Boston Scientific. He performed his doctoral research under the advisement of Professor Warren Grill at Duke University on the model-based optimization of SCS and received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in 2015. At Boston Scientific, he continues to research the mechanisms of action of SCS through internal work and collaborations with external academic institutions and seeks to translate research findings into novel algorithms on next-generation SCS devices. Altogether, Tianhe has over 12 years of combined experience in SCS research and is a named author on 14 peer-reviewed publications on the subject.
