Jaleesa Jackson, MD Assistant Professor, Director of DEI, UAMS Anesthesia

Dr. Jaleesa Jackson is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She attended medical school at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She then moved to Boston to train in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine at the Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital program for both residency and fellowship. She now practices as an Interventional Pain physician at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Her main clinical interests include the treatment of cancer pain and sickle cell disease related pain. She also serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Department of Anesthesia at UAMS.
