Michael D. Staudt, MD MSc Functional Neurosurgeon

Michael D. Staudt, MD MSc FRCSC FAANS, is a Functional Neurosurgeon at Michigan Head and Spine Institute, and an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He completed a Master’s degree in neurobiology and neurosurgical training at the Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. During residency, he completed an enfolded fellowship in Functional and Stereotactic Neurosurgery at Case Western Reserve University, followed by a second post-graduate fellowship at Albany Medical Center. His clinical practice and research interests primarily include neuromodulation for pain, movement disorders, and epilepsy.
