Doris D. Wang, MD PhD Assistant Professor

Dr. Doris Wang is an assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UCSF with a clinical and research focus in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. Dr. Wang’s clinical interest include treating movement disorders using neuromodulation and ablative procedures. Her research is focused on understanding the neural mechanisms that underlie human motor control, studying the pathophysiology when these circuits are disrupted in movement disorders, and restoring these diseased circuits to their normal states using neuromodulation. Dr. Wang finished her neurosurgery residency training in 2017, fellowship training in 2018, and has been on faculty at UCSF since 2018.
