Beth Parente, PA-C Physician Assistant

Beth is a Physician Assistant at Duke Health. She has worked with Dr. Nandan Lad to create a patient-focused, research-based functional neurosurgery practice since Dr. Lad joined Duke in 2011.Beth is often the first person patients meet during their initial consultation and their main point of contact for post-surgery needs. She manages preoperative and postoperative visits and assists Dr. Lad as needed during surgical procedures. She enjoys working directly with patients to support a smooth surgical journey and ensure the best possible outcomes. Beth also collaborates on research to understand and improve treatment approaches. She holds a Master of Health Sciences from the Duke University Physician Assistant Program and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Smith College. She has been affiliated with Duke since 2005.
