Teresita Devera, MSN ANP-BC Nurse Practitioner

Teresita DeVera is a nurse practitioner in the department of neurosurgery at Jefferson University Hospital and has recently transitioned into the role of Lead Advanced Practice Provider for the Neuroscience Enterprise. She has 20 years of experience in both spinal and functional neurosurgery. She collaborates with her physicians, managing and educating patients with chronic pain, epilepsy, and movement disorders. One of her primary roles as a nurse practitioner is to promote the advancement of other APPs, maximizing their roles in the field of neuromodulation and neuroscience as well share her knowledge and experience in order to improve patient outcomes at all points of the healthcare spectrum.
