The 2021 NANS Virtual Meeting will consist of plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, abstract presentations, an e-poster gallery, non-CME symposia, a virtual exhibit hall, a networking area, a technical assistance area, and all the great things you have come to expect at a live meeting. You can also complete evaluations and print CME certificates after each session.
You must be registered to access the virtual meeting. Registration will close at the start of the last session on the last day (Saturday, January 16 at 1 pm CST). Registration will not re-open, and meeting material will not be provided to those who did not register for the event.
Attendees who register prior to the deadline will have access to all recorded and on-demand sessions following the meeting until April 16, 2021.

Last Name Badge Number
Once you sign into the event platform, you will be prompted to opt-in or out of creating a social profile for the networking portion of the conference (this feature is optional). Next, you will navigate to the Virtual Lobby, where you will find the education sessions, e-poster gallery, exhibit hall area, and other great features the virtual platform has to offer.
The 2021 NANS Virtual Meeting is being offered in two activity formats: live activity and enduring material (on-demand). Therefore, the meeting has been designated with two types of CME credits.
Live Activity: Attend sessions live on January 15-16, 2021. Enduring Material: Watch sessions on your own time on-demand. All sessions will be available on-demand until April 16, 2021.
Note:Credits cannot be claimed for the same session live and on-demand. For example, if you attend Plenary Session 1 during the livestream on January 15, 2021, and claim credits after the session, you will not be able to claim credit for it again on-demand.
Criteria for Successful Completion to Claim CME Credits:
Participants must be registered and paid for the meeting.
Must attend sessions either:
Live during the meeting dates.
On-demand after the meeting.
Achieve a passing score of 70% or higher on a post-test for each session.
Complete an evaluation form for each session.
During the live event, post-tests and evaluations must be completed immediately following the session during the allotted time (15-30 minutes). Once the allotted time ends, you will no longer be able to claim credit for the session as a “live” activity. You will need to go back and claim the credit on-demand for enduring material credit.
Please note that post-tests and evaluations will only remain open until April 16, 2021. After this date, the system will not allow participants to complete post-tests or evaluations. CME credits will not be awarded to participants that fail to complete both post-tests and evaluations prior to April 16, 2021.
Whether you want to catch up with a colleague, network, or make a new friend, the Networking feature allows you to chat with other attendees and exhibitors.
Q&A FOR SESSIONS
Live Q&A will be available via chat for many of the sessions. The sessions offering Q&A will have a chat window on the right side of the presentation screen. When available, the presenter(s) will make every effort to respond to as many questions as possible within the duration of the session. This is a public platform, so be sure not to include any personally identifiable information (PII) in your questions and discussions. All Q&A will be recorded and made available on-demand.
EXHIBIT HALL PARTICIPATION – use of Zoom application
The Exhibit Hall is a place for attendees to get questions answered, download materials, and interact with NANS Exhibitors. Please note that some exhibitors also have a video chat option. If you chose to video chat with an exhibitor, you will leave the platform and video chat through zoom.
We look forward to having you join us in the virtual world!
