NANS’s Commitment to Keeping You Safe
This year’s NANS Annual Meeting will look a little different than past ones. Capacity in some meeting rooms may be limited, we will also encourage social distancing wherever possible, and ensure frequent cleaning and sanitation of facilities.
To ensure a comfortable and effective environment for all our attendees during the Annual Meeting in Orlando, all attendees are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival at the meeting venue in order to receive their badge. Attendees will also be asked to wear masks throughout the meeting in the convention spaces and meeting rooms.
To provide proof of vaccination status, NANS is encouraging all attendees to download the Clear Digital Vaccine App. The app is free for meeting attendees. You can download the app using this link on your smartphone and follow the prompts to enroll.
When opening the App, scroll down to complete the digital vaccine card and add your vaccination information.
Clear App Instructions:
When opening the app, do not click the first option to create your health pass. Please scroll down to complete the Health Pass Digital Vaccine Card (blue)
Click Add My Vaccination
Click Get Started
Enter the following information:
your email address
your phone number
scan your government issued photo ID
scan your vaccine card
fill out your vaccine administered information
When finished, your Digital Vaccine Card will read completed.
Alternatively, you may also present a copy of your official federal vaccine card or equivalent documentation if traveling from outside of the United States. Please also be prepared to show a government-issued form of identification for verification, if requested.
Staff will be stationed at the entrance of the meeting space in the hotel asking attendees to show their vaccine status prior to entering the facility each day of the meeting.
Additionally, if you have recently been exposed to COVID-19 and believe you may be at risk of spreading the disease, please do not attend the meeting in-person. If you become sick after you arrive to the meeting site, do not attend the meeting. Please notify hotel staff of your need to quarantine as they will have measures in place to accommodate your needs.
Release of Liability
NANS is not liable for any illness acquired from or during attendance at the 2022 NANS Annual Meeting. Neither NANS, the meeting site/venue, or any attendees can be held liable if an attendee becomes sick during or as a result of attendance at the NANS Annual Meeting. By attending the meeting in person, you are agreeing to this waiver of liability.
NANS reserves the right to revise and adjust these guidelines as necessary to adhere to current health and safety guidelines. Please refer back to these guidelines upon arrival at the site venue to ensure compliance. Thank you for your help in keeping everyone safe so that we may enjoy another successful educational event!
