This course will utilize ultrasound and fluoroscopy for PNS targets in the extremities, trunk, pelvis, and head/neck. Emerging Role of Neuromodulation for Cancer Pain

Neuromodulation therapies including intrathecal pumps, spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulators can be excellent choices for patients with cancer-related pain. Improving survival rates and duration of patients with cancer pain are allowing consideration of these therapies more frequently than in the past. Cancer patients are a unique population with some specific needs such as frequent imaging that can impact on the choice for neuromodulation therapies in this group.
