Role of Neuromodulation in Addiction and Affective Disorders

This session will focus on the potential role of neuromodulation to treat addiction and affective disorders. Speakers will present current knowledge of the neural anatomy relevant to these disorders and neuromodulation. Both non-invasive and invasive neuromodulation approaches will be presented along with methods to develop advanced neuromodulation strategies that exploit knowledge of the underlying neural circuity.
