Advanced Practice Providers Session: Guidance on Common Clinical Questions Featured

3:30 PM - 5:00 PM Friday, January 24

Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are an integral part of neuromodulation practices around the world, and it is important for their role to be supported through education in their field, training on application of their skill sets, and gaining insight on how to provide well-rounded care. The APP session of the scientific program aims to provide these tools.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize differences in mechanical and neuropathic pain and improving patient outcomes with neuromodulation.
  • Apply current evidence based practices when caring for patients best suited for back surgery or spinal cord stimulation.
  • Explain SCS waveforms and programming applications.
  • Identify MRI issues in neuromodulation devices and importance of patient education.
