Susan Reid Schellinck is an Occupational Therapist who works exclusively with people with chronic pain. She received her first science degree from University of Victoria, and her OT degree from University of British Columbia. She is a longstanding education committee member for Pain BC, and tours Canada teaching other OT’s about assessment and treatment of chronic pain. She was one of the initiating members for the creation of an inter-disciplinary pre-rehabilitation program for spinal cord stimulation at the NRGH Pain Program in 2010. Her hope is to increase awareness of the importance of pre and post rehab to increase efficacy the of neuromodulation for people with pain.
