Meghan Wilock, PA-C is a part of the functional neurosurgical team at Albany Medical Center. She received her master’s degree in the Physician Assistant program at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. Prior to this, she graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover Massachusetts with a Bachelor degree in Health Sciences. She currently works in collaboration with functional neurosurgeon Dr. Julie Pilitsis. The bulk of her patients she cares for have diagnoses of Parkinson’s disease, Essential Tremor, Chronic pain, and spasticity many of whom undergo placement of deep brain stimulators, spinal cord stimulators, or intrathecal pumps respectively. Meghan is also involved in community outreach for Parkinson’s disease, education on DBS for all movement disorders, and helping with various research projects her team is involved in. She is the membership chair of the Women in Neuromodulation section of NANS.
