This session will review recent clinical guidelines pertaining to periprocedural anticoagulation management and infection risk mitigation, as well as recent advances in neuromodulation for headache treatment.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss best practices for periprocedural anticoagulation management and infection risk mitigation.
  • Describe how existing and emerging neuromodulation therapies can be integrated into the algorithm of headache treatment.
  • Review the top neuromodulation manuscripts published in Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
